An upcoming charity event.

< Musical 'Heungbu, Nolbu' >

Korean traditional folk tale musical named 'Heungbu, Nolbu' will be held on 17th of MAy. This is one of the most famous traditional story in Korea about two brothers; greedy Nolbu and good-hearted Heungbu. Korean and Indian children will play a musical performance in English. The details are below:

- Location: Abu Dhabi Theater (Breakwater- near the Marina Mall)

What do you know about Korea? A new contest.

‘International quiz competition on Korean culture’ will be held on 31 of August in Republic of Korea. Before the final round which held in KBS(Korean Broadcasting System), 22 countries will have a preliminary round. Korean Embassy in UAE also plan on holding a preliminary on 7th of Jun.
The winner will get a chance to visit Korea for joining final round. Other prizes(Smart Phone, Digital Camera, K-pop CD, etc.) will be given.

Participants must register in advance. Please fill out the application file and e-mail us as the followings:

1. Preliminary Round Date / Venue: 7th of Jun, 2014 / Abu Dhabi(TBD)
2. Registration Period: 7th of May - 24th of May, 2014

AD KSI also sends its condolences to the victims of the Sewol Ferry disaster; the injured, the parents and families and the teachers and classmates of the dearly departed and those lost at sea. We wish that they will find eventual solace as they try to find a way to cope with this unimaginable tragedy and peace be unto the dearly departed.

The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has sent a cable of condolences to President Park Geun-hye of South Korea and the families of the hundreds of victims of the ferry accident.
