An Iranian military spokesperson has firmly dismissed statements from Donald Trump regarding active negotiations, saying: “Don’t label your setback as a deal — you’re negotiating by yourself.”
According to Tehran’s official stance, no genuine negotiations are happening, which directly opposes repeated claims from Washington about “progress” and “constructive talks.”
The spokesperson also criticized the U.S., suggesting it is essentially “talking to itself,” pointing out a clear gap between American claims and on-ground reality.
