I don’t have the words for what these years have meant, but I’ll try.

Getting you was the best thing that ever happened to me. You’ve given me comfort on my hardest days, unconditional love on the ordinary ones, and a kind of joy I didn’t know was possible. But more than that, you taught me things I didn’t know I needed to learn. How to show up. How to be patient. How to care for something completely, selflessly, and without condition.

You made me a better person, and I’ll never stop being grateful for that.

kane has cystinuria — a condition that causes kidney and bladder stones. castration was the best decision for his long term health and i’d do it again in a heartbeat.
