Uzbek bread.
Uzbek bread is a type of traditional bread in Uzbekistan known as non or lepyoshka , known for its distinctive texture and delicious taste.
To prepare at home, its basic ingredients are four cups of white flour, a teaspoon of salt, a teaspoon of sugar, a tablespoon of yeast, a cup of warm water and two tablespoons of vegetable oil
Prepare the yeast In a small bowl, mix the yeast with sugar and a cup of warm water and leave the mixture for 10 minutes until the yeast reacts.
Prepare the dough In a large bowl, add flour and salt, then add the yeast and oil mixture. Knead the ingredients thoroughly until you get a smooth and firm dough. If the dough is slightly dry, you can add a little water as needed.
Forming the bread After the dough is brewing, divide it into small balls, then press them slightly with your fingers to make a round and flat shape. The baking medium is often decorated by making small holes using a fork or a special tool.
To prepare the bread, preheat the oven to 220°C and leave it in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes until golden
The top of the bread can be greased with egg yolk to give it a beautiful shiny color.
