💦😂 The Day I Nearly Fetched Someone’s Bath Water! 😭

One harmattan morning, I carried my yellow jerrycan to fetch water from the well. As I was pulling the rope, I saw one bucket already full beside the well.

I said to myself, “God has answered my prayer today — free water!” 😌

I poured it into my jerrycan sharp-sharp, feeling like I just won a lottery. Just as I was about to carry it home, Mama Uche came running and shouted:

"Ah! My pikin’s bath water! Where you dey carry am go?!" 😭😭😭

My whole body froze like frozen fish. I just dropped the jerrycan, said “Mama, no vex” and ran home with my dignity leaking like the water.

Since that day, I fetch my own water — even if it means fighting with the well rope till night 😅
