Oh, what a ride it's been! Here’s a peek at my rollercoaster journey, filled with ups, downs, and everything in between:

🔹 1998 - Hit rock bottom, felt totally invisible to my family and tried committing suicidal!

🔹 2002 - GPA crashed to 2.4, thought my world was over... Spoiler: it wasn't.

🔹 2004 - Caught the entrepreneur bug.

🔹 2006 - Said 'see ya' to college, dived into business, and started raking in $3000 a week!

🔹 2009 - Ouch, lost it all and ended up couch surfing at a friend’s fashion studio.

🔹 2010 - Back at mom’s, regrouping and rethinking.

🔹 2011 - Tried the retail gig at a fancy fashion store, lasted four months before the business bug bit again.

🔹 2012 - A mix of small wins and a big flop, even struggled to pay rent. Yup, back to sofa surfing!

🔹 2013 - Tied the knot with a genius PhD math student (who was as broke as I was 😂), and baby made three!

🔹 2014 - Back to hustling, this time with SIM cards distribution!

🔹 2015 - Jumped on the Bitcoin bandwagon and welcomed kiddo #2.

🔹 2017 - achieved finacial stability never to need to work again before hitting 40!

🔹 2018 - Welcomed baby #3, and though we lost one, we’re grateful every day.

🔹 2019 - Baby #4 arrived, party of six!

🔹 2021 - Top earning year yet!

🔹 2022 - Just for kicks, got a master’s in blockchain.

🔹 2023/2024 - Teacher mode on, homeschooling my crew and cooking up my next big thing.

Still writing this wild story with an every help from above. Stay tuned, keep rocking, never stop!

Can you believe there's nothing in history or during my lifetime that has created as many millionaires and billionaires as Bitcoin has? 🚀

We're just 9 days away from the next Bitcoin halving, folks! This means the reward for mining Bitcoin will drop to 3.125 BTC every 10 minutes - that's half of what it is now!

When I started in this game, miners could get 25 BTC every 10 minutes. 🤑

Had an interesting chat yesterday with a waiter at Tasha's restaurant here in Dubai. He's a young guy from Zimbabwe who works over 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. When I asked gently why Tasha's didn't hire someone from South Africa instead, he said "The owners know South Africans won't work these kinds of hours and weekends. They want to have fun."

His perspective made me reflect. Do South African workers also deserve livable wages and hours, even if some immigrants may accept less?

There seem to be so many complex factors behind this labor issue - poverty, opportunity, workers' rights. No easy answers.

Curious to hear South Africans' thoughtful perspectives on the immigrant labor debate. Can we have open and nuanced conversations that bring people together? Are there solutions that could benefit local SA workers AND vulnerable immigrants? Look forward to perspectives from back home.
