Shk.Mohamed Jabbie Guest Speaker For The National Female Quranic Competition 🇸🇱

Sheikh Mohamed Jabbie is a distinguished scholar, educator, and international Quran reciter who has proudly represented Sierra Leone in numerous global competitions. In 2008, he represented Sierra Leone in Iran, followed by Dubai in 2009. In 2010, he competed in Kuwait, where he achieved a historic third-place finish—making him the first Sierra Leonean to attain such a prestigious rank in international Quranic recitation. He also represented Sierra Leone in Libya in 2011.

Sheikh Jabbie participates exclusively in the full Quran category and has remained victorious in many of these competitions. Domestically, he has won numerous local Quranic competitions, earning him the revered title of "Quranic Pelé"—a testament to his mastery and influence in Quranic recitation.

He memorized the entire Quran in Senegal before relocating to Sierra Leone, where he pursued his education at Ansarul Islamic College. There, he excelled as one of the top students, earning a scholarship to study at the Islamic University of Madinah in Saudi Arabia. He specialized in Quranic studies and graduated with outstanding results.

After completing his studies, Sheikh Jabbie returned to his homeland, Sierra Leone, before later moving to Gambian. There, he established a renowned madrasah (Islamic school), mentoring exceptional students who now represent Gambia in international Quran competitions worldwide, Masha Allah 🤩
