These days the atmosphere in the Middle East feels heavy.
There is a lot of tension, a lot of uncertainty, and it affects all of us in one way or another.
In moments like these I often return to what has always grounded me (SOUND).
Over the past weeks, with the help of ETN.fm, I was able to retrieve most of the early SOUNDS DEPORTED episodes that had been lost in old archives.
While listening back to them, I realized how much of a journey this project has been.
The archive goes all the way back to 2013, when I was still searching for my musical identity.
In the beginning you will hear progressive house influences…
then traces of trance…
later melodic house & techno…
And today, the sound that resonates most with me is somewhere in the ethereal techno space.
But beyond genres, one thing has always remained constant.
The intention to share sounds that carry depth…
sounds that create space…
sounds that feed something positive inside us.
In times where the world around us feels intense, music can sometimes offer a small moment to breathe.
For anyone who wants to explore this journey from the beginning, the full SOUNDS DEPORTED archive is now available on SoundCloud.
