UAE vs Malaysia | Asia Rugby Championship | 21-06-2024

Friday night was another big night of Asia Rugby Championship at The Sevens Stadium.

In hot and horrendously humid conditions, the UAE ran in 10 tries on Pitch 1 at The Sevens Stadium.

When the final whistle blew the UAE left the field, for some well earned showers and refreshments, with a 62 - 19 win over the visitors.

UAE vs South Korea | Asia Rugby Championship | 09-06-2024

I was fortunate to be on-pitch for the UAE vs Korea match at The Sevens Stadium earlier this month to photograph the UAE's historic win over the visitors in the 2024 Asia Rugby Championship.

OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHER TO THE UAE RUGBY FEDERATION

I’m honored to have become the official photographer to the UAERF, the United Arab Emirates Rugby Federation.

2024 is going to be a big summer of international for the United Arab Emirates.

After qualifying for Asia Rugby’s elite men’s competition last summer, the Asia Rugby Championship, the UAE will be travelling to play Hong Kong on June 1st and then hosting South Korea at The Sevens Stadium on June 9th.

On June the 21st the UAE will be welcoming Malaysia to The Sevens Stadium.

I’m very excited about being at 'The Sevens' for the UAE’s first season in Asia Rugby’s top level of competition.

I'll be doing my very best to capture the effort, intensity, and emotions of the players, staff, and the spectators!

PHOTOGRAPHY - UNITED ARAB EMIRATES RUGBY FEDERATION

The United Arab Emirates Rugby Federation (UAERF) is responsible for developing and growing the game of rugby in the United Arab Emirates.

The UAE Rugby Federation was awarded a Full Membership status of the International Rugby Board (IRB) in November 2012 which is the highest recognition that a Union could be awarded by the International Governing Body.

EbbittMedia was requested to take the photographs of the UAE’s new 2023-24 international kit for its official launch and also for the press release of the 2023-24 season sponsorship by Emirates Airline.

EMIRATES DUBAI 7S - YOUTH SPORT FESTIVAL

The Emirates Dubai 7s Youth Sport Festival is an annual multi-sports tournament held over two days at the world famous Sevens Stadium in Dubai.

From the outset the tournament was created to give young players of rugby, netball, and cricket, boys and girls, the opportunity to have a 'big tournament' experience.

Almost 800 children take part every year.

After two days of competition were completed, 204 children went on to play finals at the main Emirates Dubai 7s event on December 1st 2023.

A multi-purpose website was created to not only promote the tournament and its stakeholders, but also to deliver pertinent, up-to-date, information to players, coaches, supporters, and parents.

The website also facilitated the player registration system and was the single resource of tournament data to export and create the tournament's print assets such as player passes and scorecards.

HSBC RUGBY FESTIVAL 2024

The HSBC Rugby Festival is an annual rugby tournament that takes place at the world famous Emirates Dubai 7s Stadium every January. It has been sponsored by HSBC for the past fourteen years.

As with all large sporting tournaments and festivals a significant number of assets, digital and physical, were required to help the event run smoothly and ensure the visibility of each stakeholder.
