What 10 years of competitive bodybuilding taught me⬇️

Have you ever chased something so hard that you didn’t realize what you were losing along the way? For 10 years, I gave everything to bodybuilding. I won 7 shows, earned 3 pro cards, and claimed a world title. On the outside, I had it all.

But inside? I was losing more than I realized. Birthdays, anniversaries, friendships, everything took a back seat to the sport. My life revolved around the next competition, the next prep, the next trophy. I was dedicated, yes, but also trapped in a cycle of vanity, restriction, and selfishness.

Then came the injury. At first, it felt like my world had crumbled, but in hindsight, it was the biggest blessing. It forced me to stop and reflect. I realized that if I kept going, I’d be running myself into the ground, both physically and mentally. It was a wake-up call.

Walking away wasn’t easy, but it was necessary. Bodybuilding gave me strength, but stepping away gave me balance. Now, I channel that same dedication into helping others rebuild themselves, not for trophies, but for a life they love.

Today, I live a life of freedom, purpose, and connection. I’ve traded the stage for something far more rewarding: guiding people to unlock their potential, release their limits, and create meaningful change. It’s a life I never imagined, but one I wouldn’t trade for anything.

Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel for these incredible souls!

This morning, I had the honor of hosting my first free Chakra Alchemy Breathwork session on Kite Beach, right here in Dubai, joined by 12 amazing individuals.

As the sun rose, they trusted me to guide them through a transformative practice blending breathwork, hypnosis, visualization, affirmations, and movement. Together, we worked to ground their energy, release blockages, ignite creativity, find their voice, embrace love and self-expression, and deepen their connection to the divine power of the universe.

After just seven weeks in Dubai, I’m blown away by the beautiful and fast-growing community that’s forming around this work. I feel so blessed and deeply grateful for each and every one of you.

Let’s talk about vulnerability. The kind that strips you bare, not physically, but emotionally. For years, I wore masks, of strength, of confidence, of perfection. But the truth? True strength was letting those masks fall. Vulnerability isn’t weakness; it’s the birthplace of connection, authenticity, and growth.

When I let myself be vulnerable, I found freedom. I found deeper connections with others and, most importantly, with myself. It’s scary to show up as you are, but it’s also the most powerful thing you can do.

The next time you’re tempted to hide, try leaning in. Be raw. Be real. Be you. Because when you let the walls down, that’s when true magic happens.

Each morning, monks walk barefoot through the streets, bowl in hand, embodying humility and trust. This ancient ritual, known as the alms round, is far more than a request for sustenance; it’s a profound spiritual exchange where both the giver and receiver find transformation.

For the monk, it’s a practice of renunciation, letting go of attachment and ego, cultivating gratitude for each offering, no matter how small. For the layperson, offering alms is a moment to practice generosity, detaching from material possession and connecting to something greater than oneself. Each gift symbolizes a commitment to compassion, unity, and mindfulness, a sacred exchange beyond words.

In this simple act, we’re reminded that true abundance lies not in what we hold onto but in what we freely give. As we walk through life, may we remember that our bowls are never truly empty, and our hands are never too full to give.

There was a time in my life when I knew I needed to truly disconnect to reconnect, not just with myself, but with what life really meant to me. That’s why I went to live at a monastery. I left behind the distractions of the modern world, the endless noise, and the constant pressure to “keep up” and dove deep into stillness. It was a life-changing experience, but here’s the truth: you don’t have to take such an extreme step to find that sense of peace and clarity.

The real lesson I learned is that disconnecting doesn’t have to mean retreating to a mountaintop (although it’s amazing if you can!). It’s about making intentional choices daily to step away from distractions and reconnect with yourself. Whether that’s through turning off your phone for an hour, sitting in silence with your breath, or taking a walk without any interruptions, these small moments can create a huge shift.

When we disconnect, we give ourselves the chance to reconnect with what matters: our thoughts, our values, and the people around us. It’s not about avoidance; it’s about alignment. You’ll be amazed at what clarity and peace you find when you consciously create space.

It weaves a path to purpose through five profound pillars:

Originally, the plan was to bring him over to the UAE to be with me. But when I finally checked the import laws for specific breeds, I discovered that he wasn’t allowed entry since he’s a Husky-Staffy mix. I know—I should’ve checked sooner, but I guess I was holding on to that hopeful belief that he’d be here with me no matter what.

I do believe, though, that everything happens as it should and for a reason. Within just a few days, the perfect person came into the picture to adopt him. The synchronicities between me and his new owner were too incredible to ignore. If he couldn’t be here with me, I’m genuinely glad he’s with this person!

My instincts were confirmed when I saw how at home he felt there. I’m so grateful he’s found someone who will love him just as much as I do. Plus, he’s close to my family, which means I can visit him whenever I’m back home!

Life flows as it should when we let go and stop resisting.
