Hello!!!
It's been a while since I last posted my cooking activities.
So for today's Video π char!
Eto na nga ung gustong gusto kainin ng mga bisita sa handaan.. bukod sa Shanghai at Lechon... π
Broasted Chicken normally is pressurized Chicken for 2mins then release the pressure and continue frying until crispy..
But for those who doesn't have Pressure cooker... here's the the other way..
Ingredients:
Marination:
Salt, Pepper powder and Vetsin (MSG)
Coating:
Flour, Pepper powder, ,Salt and MSG
Frying:
Deep Pan or Casserole with Lid
1L of Oil, enough to fill in half of your pan or casserole.
Procedure:
Cut the chicken on desired size.
Slice the chicken half way until you feel the bone so the mixture can sink in to the bones and to make the cooking faster.
Mix all the marinating ingredients and add you chicken, set aside in the fridge for 3-6hrs or whenever you feel like cooking it make sure you keep in freezer if you feel like just storing it for future menu.
Coating:
Mix all the coating Ingredients.
Frying:
Pre heat the pan/casserole with oil
Add 1 egg to your marinated chicken and mix well, egg will help to make your coating easier.
Coat the Chicken well including the folds of chicken or later of chicken and inner skin.
After Coating, shake the excess flour before dropping to the Pan/Casserole.
Drop 1pc Chicken at a time to maintain the Oil temperature..
First Drop 2mins then removed the Chicken and set aside..
Tip: once you drop the chicken do not turn it to otherside so the coat will be form nicely.
2nd Drop.. make sure the oil is hot before dropping to second time of Fryin then Remove after 3mins and set aside again...
Same to 3rd Drop. 3mins or until golden Brown.
Tip: make sure that it will be fully crispy and not burn... Check the chicken by constantly turning.
Remember we want a crispy and juicy Chicken not a crispy from inside and outside βΊοΈ
Serve and Enjoy π
Note:
I will upload the video of my actual cooking after Holiday since I will be cooking this recipe again.
I didn't include measurements since some people have different level of taste buds..
But my Personal taste buds are always adding extra MSG and Ginisa Mix, black pepper but less in Salt Or enough salt to taste.
TIPS:
IF YOU HAVE EXTRA COATING MIXTURE YOU CAN USE IT TO MAKE Chicken Gravy.
