We tend to rush some of the seasons we're in and in doing so, we miss the things that matter the most.

Earlier, my daughter and I had solo time going to the library where we simply had the time to choose books and not rush this time since her siblings were not with us. After that, we initially did a drive thru to get out free ice cream in McDonald's, to which she requested if we can just sit down inside the restaurant and finish our ice cream there.

It was sooo simple yet soooooo surreal. It might be a simple request but it meant the world to her.

I told her I was sorry for not being able to spend much solo time with her lately, to which she replied "It's ok Tatay, I do understand." 😭

What a gift, what a moment.

I pray that you may bask in the moments that seem "little, ordinary or routine" and see them for what they truly are - "eternal instants."

Instants that last a lifetime, i hope you see them and when you do, bask in them.
