ADAM LONG – Founder, Dubai Sound Academy
Adam Long founded Dubai Sound Academy in August 2024, which became the region’s first official Pioneer DJ school early in 2025. A global touring saxophonist and music educator with over 15 years’ experience in the UAE, Adam created the Academy to bridge the gap between professional music training and real-world performance, for both adults and young creatives. His signature initiative, Supersonics, is now the UAE’s leading children’s DJ and music production education brand, known for pioneering age-specific syllabuses, providing live gig opportunities while classes all take place in a safe, friendly environment.
Driven by a mission to inspire passion for creativity using the music and technology available to us now to create, Adam’s vision for Supersonics is global. He is expanding the school’s presence through elite international partnerships, creative-technology ventures, and other world-class music education hubs. Whether it’s mentoring a teenage student DJ making their debut on the main stage in Ibiza, or guiding professional artists with the opportunity to learn more, Adam is reshaping the way music is taught, experienced, and performed in the Middle East.
