When you work in media, one of the greatest perks is the opportunity to interview the people you admire most. For me, that moment came when I got to sit down with Paramore—my absolute favorite band. I have to admit, I was smiling the entire time during that interview, especially when Hayley Williams was speaking. It was surreal to finally thank them in person for all the music that means so much to me. That's one of the many incredible aspects of working at Time Magazine: people want to talk to you, and sometimes those people are your heroes. It's moments like these that remind me why I love what I do.,Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of conducting countless interviews with fascinating people. I've sat down with celebrities like Brooke Shields, who despite her extensive media training and experience with interviews, remains genuinely nice and engaging. But what truly stands out in my mind are the interviews where personal passion meets professional opportunity. Working at Time Magazine has opened doors to speak with incredible talents and personalities who are willing to share their stories. Each interview teaches me something new about the craft, and each conversation—whether with a seasoned media veteran or a beloved musical artist—reminds me of the unique privilege it is to do this work.
