Watching Pakistan step forward to host peace talks between the United States and Iran is a moment that fills many of us overseas Pakistanis with pride and hope. In a world often divided by politics and differences, choosing dialogue over discord is a powerful reminder that diplomacy still matters.

Regardless of the final outcome, the very act of bringing nations together at one table is deeply commendable. It reflects courage, vision, and a commitment to something bigger than individual interests — a shared future rooted in stability and coexistence.

At the heart of it all, we must remember: a human is a human. Beyond religion, nationality, or ethnicity, we all feel the same fears, hopes, and pain. Peace is not just a political goal — it is a human responsibility.

امریکہ اور ایران کے درمیان امن مذاکرات کی میزبانی کے لیے پاکستان کو آگے بڑھتے دیکھنا ایک ایسا لمحہ ہے جو ہم میں سے بہت سے سمندر پار پاکستانیوں کو فخر اور امید سے بھر دیتا ہے۔ ایسی دنیا میں جو اکثر سیاست اور اختلافات سے منقسم ہوتی ہے، اختلاف پر بات چیت کا انتخاب کرنا ایک طاقتور یاد دہانی ہے کہ سفارت کاری اب بھی اہمیت رکھتی ہے۔

With the greatest humility, I am pleased to announce that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America, along with their allies, have agreed to an immediate ceasefire everywhere including Lebanon and elsewhere, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
I warmly welcome the sagacious gesture and extend deepest gratitude to the leadership of both the countries and invite their delegations to Islamabad on Friday, 10th April 2026, to further negotiate for a conclusive agreement to settle all disputes.
Both parties have displayed remarkable wisdom and understanding and have remained constructively engaged in furthering the cause of peace and stability. We earnestly hope, that the ‘Islamabad Talks’ succeed in achieving sustainable peace and wish to share more good news in coming days!
