Filipino Culture and Heritage Take Center Stage at Louvre Abu Dhabi Gala
In a dazzling celebration of national pride and artistic legacy, the Philippine Embassy in the United Arab Emirates hosted a grand cultural gala at the iconic Louvre Abu Dhabi, featuring the historic exhibition of Juan Luna’s masterpiece “Una Bulaqueña.” The event brought together global dignitaries, cultural icons, and leaders, offering a powerful tribute to the Philippines’ rich heritage.
The gala presented a vibrant tapestry of Filipino culture, with captivating performances of traditional dance and music. A highlight of the evening was an artistic fashion presentation by internationally acclaimed Filipino designer Ezra Santos, who showcased his “AiSia” collection — a seamless fusion of Filipino tradition and contemporary design.
Guests were also treated to a curated selection of Filipino cuisine, completing an immersive cultural experience that celebrated the depth and diversity of the Philippines’ artistic and culinary traditions.
