So I thought I was on an all-you-can-eat streak this week because Little Bangkok was offering unlimited appetizers and dim sum for AED 99. But when we got there, the dishes we actually wanted to try weren’t included in the promo menu, so we ended up ordering à la carte instead and honestly, it was amazing.

My only disappointment? They asked us to choose our spice level, but the food wasn’t spicy at all 🤣 Not even a hint of heat (except for the tom yum soup, which definitely delivered).

Other than that, everything was really good. We ended up staying for almost 4 hours not because we were still eating, but because we got too busy gossiping 😭😂

The place is also super accessible, located right beside Emirates Metro Station.

DUBAI | Unlimited A5 Wagyu in Marina 🥢

Since Independence Day is coming up, here I am exercising my free will by trying almost all 80+ side dishes after my failed attempt at doing an unlimited Asian food challenge by myself. 😂 Thankfully, this unlimited yakiniku experience redeemed me, I finally got to try almost everything on the menu because we were a group of four, which meant I could have a little bit of everything! 😂🙂‍↕️

The unli runs for 3 hours, the food comes out quickly, and the staff are incredibly accommodating, so you’ll definitely get your money’s worth. I was so focused on the yakiniku that I almost forgot about the hotpot. 😂 But don’t get me wrong, the Australian beef is just as satisfying as the wagyu!

If you’re looking for a place to celebrate Independence Day, this is a solid choice. Use your independence wisely and challenge yourself to try all 80+ side dishes. 🤣

DUBAI | Unlimited Asian Dishes in Deira

Do you know why it’s best to go to an all-you-can-eat restaurant with someone? So you can try more dishes without getting full too quickly! Unfortunately for me, this was a completely impulsive decision, I was just looking for unlimited sushi in Dubai when I came across this place (probably because I was nearby 😂).

For AED 69, you get unlimited Asian dishes for 2 hours. You can also add AED 12 for unlimited drinks and desserts. Just a heads-up: leftovers are charged at AED 3 per piece, so make sure to order only what you can finish (unlike me 🤣).

One of the reasons I got full so fast? I started with dessert, ordered too many fried dishes, and clearly didn’t plan my strategy well. 😂

The staff were all lovely, especially the floor manager. She kept checking on me after I mentioned it was my first visit, which made the experience even better.

I’m pretty sure I could’ve eaten a lot more if I hadn’t gone at dinner time. 🫩 If you’re planning to visit, maybe focus on the rice bowls and pace yourself better than I did... or don’t, it’s up to you. 😂

DUBAI | Filipino-style Food Court in Deira

Had a quick catch-up with a friend who lives in Discovery Gardens and has been craving Filipino-style shawarma. That’s actually how we ended up discovering this place 😂

The whole vibe reminded me of a typical Filipino food court back in the Philippines, especially those food stalls you find inside supermarkets. It felt surprisingly nostalgic.

We originally came just to try Momoi’s, but as a foodie, there was no way I could stop at one stall 😂 I honestly wanted to order from all of them, but we didn’t want to waste food either 🙂‍↕️

They accept card payments, which is a plus! Just be careful with the staircase though it’s a bit old and stiff. I can’t really explain it, but you’ll know what I mean when you see it lol.

DUBAI | Bâoli Restaurant in Jumeirah 1

A place to dine, chill, party, and even take a dip.

We had lunch by the sea, and while the view was beautiful, the heat was definitely not on my side. If you’re someone who sweats a lot like me, you might want to visit when the weather is a little cooler 😂 or dine inside.

The place is packed with photo-worthy corners, and a cute little detail I loved—they’ll give you a complimentary hand fan if you ask for one. It’s chic and handy.

As for the food, it wasn’t the highlight of the visit, but the atmosphere more than made up for it. The portions are generous for the price, and the overall vibe makes the experience worth it.

A great spot for a laid-back lunch with family or a fun day out with friends.

DUBAI | Outdoor Kart in Motor City

Had a fun little side quest and honestly, it was kinda scary… especially when the other players or should I say karters? 😂 — were so competitive. There was this group of guys racing each other like they do it every week, checking lap times and arguing over who won. Meanwhile, I’m just a girl trying to have fun and trying to do things alone 🥹😂

It’s definitely more fun when you come with friends, someone can take photos for you or you can race each other and see who gets the fastest lap time. Honestly, 20 minutes felt just right to fully enjoy the experience without getting too exhausted. Got a headache and shivers after 😂

DUBAI | A must-try Cantonese Restaurant in International City

This place has been on my list for quite some time now, and I finally got to try it! I wanted to visit even more because it has been recommended to me, and boy… it did not disappoint.

Everything we ordered was flavorful, rich, and honestly so satisfying. I badly wanted to try their Char Siu Pork and Sweet & Sour too, but we already had more than enough food 💔 the dishes are quite expensive, but the portions are good for sharing, so it’s better to come with friends or family.

It’s definitely a place I’d come back to whenever I’m craving pork because the flavors were just that good. Though fair warning this is probably not the best place for people with high blood pressure HAHAHA, but if you still insist, consider yourself warned 😂

DUBAI | A must-try Korean BBQ in Deira

This is me and my friends’ go-to Korean BBQ spot in Dubai. Whenever we’re craving KBBQ, this is always the first place that comes to mind. I love that it’s not unlimited because the meat quality and cuts are actually good, and somehow the food is just enough to satisfy your cravings without feeling too overwhelming after.

Their cheese is honestly one of my favorite parts too 😂 It’s become our trusted KBBQ place where we never have to question if we’re getting our money’s worth, especially if your friends aren’t huge fans of unlimited buffets.

The only downside? The line 😭 Especially during dinner time. I swear there’s not a single visit where we didn’t have to queue lol.

Just wanted to share this because I’ve eaten here so many times but never actually posted about it since I got so used to coming here haha. Anyway, gonna start trying new Korean BBQ spots soon once I’m done with my Chinese food phase 😂

DUBAI | A Must-try Iraqi Restaurant

First time trying an Iraqi restaurant and it definitely did not disappoint. You know a place is legit and authentic when it’s filled with locals and by locals, I mean people actually from the cuisine’s country of origin. That’s honestly one of the best signs when trying a new restaurant.

The food was quite pricey, but definitely worth it. Most of the dishes, especially the lamb and fish, are perfect for sharing and packed with flavor.

DUBAI | A Must-Try Chinese Restaurant in International City

Taking you to the Northeast part of China this time it’s Dongbei cuisine! It’s known for its hearty, comforting dishes with rich savory flavors, and some dishes do have a slight sweetness to them, which I personally loved.

Everything we ate felt so comforting. It’s the kind of restaurant I know I can bring any of my friends to, especially the picky eaters, because the flavors are approachable, well-balanced, and not overly heavy on spices. The food genuinely gives that warm, home-cooked feeling, so the name Go Home Restaurant honestly makes so much sense haha.

And for everything we ordered, it only cost AED 240. Can you imagine???? Definitely coming back!!! 💯❤️
