INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY: Sharjah Police and consular authorities are investigating the tragic deaths of two sisters from Kazakhstan found inside their apartment in Sharjah. 🕊️🇰🇿🇦🇪

The sisters, aged 20 and 22, moved to the UAE last December to work in the salon industry.

Communication with their relatives abruptly ceased on August 17, prompting the family to file a missing persons report through the Kazakh Consulate.

Authorities subsequently located the women inside their residence.

Their remains were repatriated to Kazakhstan on August 28, while forensic examinations continue to establish the official cause of death.

STUDENT SAFETY FIRST: Abu Dhabi Police have issued a strict reminder to motorists regarding safety rules around school buses as the new academic year begins! 🚌🚸🇦🇪

Key Rules & Penalties:

🛑 Mandatory Stop: Drivers in both directions must come to a complete stop when the school bus side “STOP” sign is deployed.

📏 Safety Distance: Motorists must maintain a minimum distance of 5 metres from the bus to allow students to board and exit safely.

🚨 Penalties: Failing to stop when the bus stop arm is extended carries a AED 1,000 fine and 10 black points.
