1 million views in 30 days but only 450 followers — here’s what I learned about Instagram growth

I hit 1 million views as a new content creator in exactly 30 days. I thought that meant I’d made it.

But when I looked at my follower count? 450 people. Out of a MILLION views, 99.9% didn’t hit follow.

That’s when I realized: I was optimizing for the wrong metric.
