📢 Controversy Erupts in Dharan!

Mayor Harka Sampang has stirred debate after sending a letter to the federal Health Ministry demanding the return of land owned by BPKIHS to build a new municipal hospital. His informal and harsh tone has drawn criticism.

🏥 The land, which was transferred to BPKIHS in 2048 BS by the government, has been under the institute’s name for over 30 years. BPKIHS asserts full legal ownership.

⚠️ The institute has raised concern over Mayor Sampang’s use of phrases like “secretly taken” and “land grabbed”, calling them misleading and confusing to the public.

🤝 While BPKIHS says it is open to working with local authorities on future projects, it stands firm on the legal settlement of the land.

🚨 Shocking Medical Case from Udaypur!
A 15-year-old boy accidentally swallowed a pair of scissors while playing. The sharp object got stuck in his large intestine, causing a life-threatening situation. 😱✂️

He was rushed to Nobel Teaching Hospital, Biratnagar, where scans confirmed the object’s location. Thanks to the expert team led by Dr. Amit Bhattarai, the scissors were successfully removed using advanced laparoscopic surgery. 🙌🏽

🗣️ “It could have turned critical, but we managed to save him just in time,” said Dr. Bhattarai.

After 2 days of care, the boy is now fully recovered and safe. ❤️‍🩹
