You loved Part 1 so here’s Part 2 of Muslim heroes we’re learning about at home!
These are the names I want my kids to grow up knowing not just warriors, but queens, inventors, scientists, and scholars.
✨ Real Muslims. Real impact. Real inspiration.
👑 Zubaida – A kind and wise queen of Baghdad. She spent her wealth to build wells and places for Hajj pilgrims to rest. Her heart was full of care.
📚 Lubna of Cordoba – A super smart woman from Spain who was great at maths and poetry. She helped run one of the biggest libraries in the world!
💰 Mansa Musa – The richest man in history but more than that, he built schools and mosques and gave away gold. He loved knowledge and helped many people.
🧠 Ibn Khaldun – A clever thinker who wrote about how people live, lead, and build communities. His ideas are still used in schools and universities today.
⚙️ Al-Jazari – A brilliant inventor! He made amazing machines like water clocks and pumps long before robots existed.
⚔️ Sultan Bayezid I – A brave and fast Ottoman leader. People called him “The Lightning” because of how quickly he acted in battles and decisions.
🧭 Maryam al-Asturlabi – A female scientist from Syria who made star maps and tools to help travelers find their way. She worked in science when not many women did.
🏰 Sultan Mehmed II – Just 21 when he conquered Constantinople! He was smart, strong, and believed in justice and he changed history forever.
🧕 Let’s teach our kids that our Ummah has always been full of light, courage, and creativity.
