Air cargo tonnages from China and Hong Kong to Europe fell for the sixth consecutive week from July 27 to August 2, weakening global air cargo growth in July. Higher costs and complexities following new European Union (EU) import rules introduced on July 1 have affected volumes and contributed to a decline in worldwide air cargo rates.
