Memories I’ll cherish forever! Congratulations to the Malaika Class of 2023

Honored to have witnessed the first-ever graduation of the Malaika school last Thursday.

It was an incredible day for rural Congolese girls, showing us that with strength, confidence and dedication, nothing’s impossible.
Malaika school has changed their lives forever.

She was a leader, not just because of her impeccable style; my mother was a matriarch in our community and was a mother figure to many more children than her own.
Everyone who knew her speaks highly of her. At her departure, they all had an anecdote of how she helped them through a difficult time and how generous she was, that’s why I know she’ll live forever.
