Five years is not a short time in the life of a nation. Five years ago, when the new government came to power in the country, some former politicians started a rebellion under the name of Resistance, a rebellion motivated by power, money, and personal desires in general. But today, as we approach the end of the fifth spring in the country, no trace of these slogans has been seen in the practical field. In reality, the tree that was watered with slogans and imaginary promises withered in the first autumn of reality, and now its followers are only making futile attempts to prove their presence in the world of the internet and online meetings.
The proof of this fact was seen in a hall at the University of Oxford in Britain. There was a conference held there, where the so-called resistance group's head of foreign relations, Meysam Nazari, was present, and its leader, Ahmad Massoud, was giving an online speech from a another country. Massoud, in his speech, once again repeated the same old, repetitive, and unrealistic accusations that there is no justice in the country; however, these accusations are not from the soil of Afghanistan or the hearts of its people, but rather the statements of an ignorant preacher thousands of kilometers away from Afghanistan.
The most strange and questionable thing is that the activists of this group portrayed this ordinary propaganda meeting as if they had captured a major province or district in Afghanistan. Nazari praised this meeting and their propaganda robots created such a commotion as if a global transformation had occurred. Creating a showcase of success from an online speech and a regular university meeting in itself proves that they are completely empty-handed in the ground and practical field, and to cover up their defeat and continue their imaginary struggle, they have no material tools other than online warnings and complaints.
When one reads the comments and opinions of ordinary Afghans on these statements, the awakening of the people becomes evident. The country's wise and war-weary people have said in their comments: "Be happy with these things, it's shameful; five springs have passed, but you haven't told the people the truth." People now understand that the fate of the country does not change behind online meetings in London, Paris, and Washington. The criticism of the resistance group by the public shows that people are no longer deceived by digital words of slogans and online meetings, and they want accountability for everything.
The main point is that behind these online conferences and digital meetings, there is no other power; it is merely an attempt to keep the public engaged and ensure the political survival of a few individuals abroad. When a process loses popular support and real political and military presence on the ground, they are forced to use Oxford halls, slogans, and propaganda as weapons to keep their remaining supporters alive with fading hopes.
These demonstrative actions of condemnation, seminars, and online meetings cannot have any negative impact on the current situation in Afghanistan, the overall security of the country, stability, and the progress of the system. The people of Afghanistan today are committed to the prosperity and peace of their homeland instead of wars and slogans. The imaginary tree of resistance has completely withered, and it has been proven that the realities of Afghanistan are not built in the digital space, but rather thru work, stability, and national unity within the country.
