P-trap height: what's the real deal? 🤔

Is this bathtub drain setup correctly? 🤔 Got this setup on a cabin in rural Central Texas, and I'm curious if this drain system is installed to code, all 1.5" PVC.

It's got a main bathtub drain, an overflow drain that isn't glued in, going into a P-trap, and then a vent stack going up. The pipe going down connects to the main sewer line.

The areas circled in blue are what I'm worried about. Specifically, is the P-trap at the right height, maybe lower than the tub drain, to function properly?

Any thoughts on this are appreciated. Thanks 🙏🔧

Still leaking after putty *and* silicone? 😤

New sink drain situation. 🚰 Installed the new sink and drain, used plumber's putty on the fl**ge like I was told.

Still leaking under the brass nut after three days. I've taken it apart, added more putty, even used silicone and putty last night out of sheer frustration.

Waited 24 hours, turned the water on, and it's *still* leaking all around the brass nut. manufacturer actually recommends silicone around the fl**ge.

I even put plumber's tape on the P-trap fitting, thinking that was the problem too. What's my next move here?

Is this faucet a no-go for filters? 😳

I'm in a bind and need some serious plumber intel on this kitchen faucet aerator situation. 🚰 I'm trying to get this stubborn aerator off my rental apartment's faucet so I can hook up a PUR filter because the water here is rough.

I've already mangled the metal trying to twist it off with pliers and now vice grips, pretty sure I've destroyed the thing trying to get it off. I'm turning it counter-clockwise, I swear, but it just keeps skidding and shaving off more metal.

I’m worried I need this off ASAP for my deposit, but I'm also wondering if this faucet is even supposed to have a removable aerator. Did I go through all this for nothing?

My elbows are killing me from trying. Anyone got any tricks or ideas on how to get this thing off without causing more damage?

DIY toilet fix or plumber's bill? 🤔

Toilet overfills and drains, any ideas on fixing this? 🚰 This toilet fills up almost all the way before flushing.

Ones every 3 or 4 flushes, it only drains 50% but will drain 100% the next flush after that. Trying to figure out if this is an easy DIY fix before I call someone.

Searched Home Depot and Lowe’s. Would a supplier carry this?

It goes to a free standing tub faucet but is a hair too short. 💧🔧
