What's the deal with my weird water heater plumbing?

My 25 year old water heater (that still works ok) is on the shortlist of things to replace before shopping around for better home insurance. The hot water outlet seems to be split into a 3/4" pipe and a 1/2" pipe. When I use my thermal camera, I can see that the 1/2" is not nearly as hot as the 3/4" portion is. Any idea why it might be split at the hot outlet like that? The washing machine is in the same room, just left of the photo if that could be a factor. And the TPR valve is also hard plumbed into the wall, with no outlet outside that I'm aware of, so I have to assume it feeds into a drain somewhere in the wall?

Constant whistling noise after flushing

So, after flushing basically 24/7 this toilet is making a high pitched whistling noise. I thought it was the flapper but it seems that the chain and everything is working fine. That's usually the culprit in my experience. My experience is very limited, so I appreciate any help from others. Thank you.

How do I secure this pipe?

We had some work done last year when this was done. I used a small sink plunger late last night and this morning I heard water in the walls. Cut open the wall in the closet and found this rubber joint out of whack. I went to remove it and noticed (what I’m assuming) the vent pipe is completely loose. It’s very heavy. How do I secure it to the stud next to it or should I secure it some other way?

Hybrid water heater help

I bought a new hybrid water heater to replace my aging water heater (21 years old, never flushed). It's located in a my garage in a narrow opening 23" wide 8' high, I looked up the specs online and it said it needed zero clearance around the sides and 12" above. Perfect, the water heater is 22" wide. It went on sale and with tax credits and rebates it's basically free, let's go!

Anyway it arrived yesterday and now I'm looking at the optional hot water outlet (it has 2 hot and 2 cold) and t&p on the side and thinking this won't fit in the space without turning the heat pump exhaust vent at the wall.

So, can I remove the hot water outlet on the side and replace it with a flush mount brass plug and also relocate the t&p, either in the top cold supply or use a tee off of the hot outlet and attach the t&p to that.

Or should I just face the vent to the wall?

Leaking at both of these junctions

How do I fix this?? Plumber is 3 weeks out and I don't really want this leaking that much longer. Should I replace it with what's there, or make a change of some sort?

Question about sewer gas vents

Hi all!!
I have been having a licensed contractor complete a bathroom in my house.
For context, the main vent pipe was not previously connected when the bathroom was done the first time around (was a DIY job by my dad). I asked the contractor to connect it, and he failed to do so, stating is was "impossible". His solution was to put studor valves in the walls with each fixture (toilet, sink, shower).

However, after basically finishing everything, he has now realized the toilet does not get enough air flow with the studor valve, and it causes the toilet not to flush very well, mostly not flushing at all. H has decided he will now vent the toilet out of the side of the house to allow proper air flow.

Is venting out of the side of the house to code? How can I ensure it meets code standards? Pic included is the location of the studor valve before the toilet was placed.
