"Hey You Aryan…" - The composition begins with a memory of peaceful times before barbarian tribes attacked and transformed the Armenian soldier into a hero and defender. This opening depiction shares a dream of a peaceful life that was never realized. The Armenian soldier, bravely facing numerous dangers, falls in battle but becomes a collective figure, whose memory is tied to the defense of the homeland.
The central theme of the song is the Armenian hero's sacrifice and the profound, powerful response to the loss of a child—a combination of a father’s intense grief and the fiery call for revenge. In the song's core section, the "Silent Man" is a symbolic, collective figure who has lost his child. This part conveys deep emotions, blending sorrow and anger, which later transform into a call for struggle.
The song concludes with a strong will for vengeance against the enemy. The expression "Curse, countless curses" is bold and passionate, conveying the nation's relentless fight and call for revenge. These lines also echo the tradition of vengeance rooted in ancient Armenian culture, an essential part of national identity and historical memory.
The song reflects the spirit of patriotism, loss, and pain, but also resilience and defiance. It not only touches upon historical events but also expresses a national and personal tragedy that remains vivid and alive in the hearts of the Armenian people today.
«Ով դու արիական» - Ստեղծագործությունը սկսվում է խաղաղ ժամանակի հուշով՝ մինչ բարբարոս ցեղերը կհարձակվեին, և հայ զինվորը կվերածվեր հերոսի, պաշտպանի: Մեկնարկի այդ պատկերումը կիսում է խաղաղ կյանքի երազանքը, որը չի իրականացել: Հայ զինվորը, քաջաբար դիմակայելով բազում վտանգներին, զոհվում է, բայց դառնում է հավաքական կերպար, ում հիշատակը կապվում է հայրենիքի պաշտպանությանը:
Երգի կենտրոնական թեման հայ հերոսի զոհաբերությունն է և հայի անմիջական ու ուժեղ արձագանքը՝ կորցրած զավակի հանդեպ՝ զորեղ հայրական ցավի և վրեժի հրայրքի համադրությամբ։ Ստեղծագործության կենտրոնական հատվածում, «Լռակյաց մարդը» սիմվոլիկ, հավաքական կերպար է, ով կորցրել է իր զավակին։ Այս բաժնում հնչում են խորը հույզեր՝ վշտի և զայրույթի միախառնումով, որը հետագայում վերածվում է պայքարի կոչի։
Երգի վերջում առկա է թշնամու նկատմամբ վրեժի ուժեղ կամքը։ «Անե՜ծք, բյուր անեծք» արտահայտությունը համարձակ ու կրքոտ է՝ փոխանցելով ազգի անդադար պայքարի ու վրեժի կոչը: Երգի այս տողերը նաև հին հայկական մշակույթից եկած վրեժխնդրության ավանդույթների արձագանքն են, որը կարևոր մաս է ազգային ինքնության և պատմական հիշողության մեջ:
