Red Lobster is OFFICIALLY OUT OF BANKRUPTCY!🦞

After filing for bankruptcy earlier this year, the seafood chain is officially back on top thanks to its 35 year old CEO Damola Adamolekun.

Under his leadership, Red Lobster introduced seafood boil bags, $5 drinks (yes, FIVE!), upgraded menus, better service, and revamped interiors that have customers coming back for more.

Now that’s how you lead with flavor and finesse.

In 2023, she was honored by the Shreveport-Bossier African American Chamber of Commerce during Women’s History Month for her impact in business and media.

A proud graduate of Southern University at Shreveport, Dy also gives back by mentoring others and facilitating leadership experiences, including serving during Roy Griggs Day at SUSLA in 2024.

Outside of business, Dy is a woman of strong faith. She serves as a Sunday School teacher and a dedicated member of the Prayer Ministry at Springfield Baptist Church. She is a devoted wife and mother who finds joy in shopping, seafood, and creating a peaceful home.

We are honored to recognize Timothy Ashley Jackson as a 2025 Roy Griggs 50 Under 50 Honoree for his outstanding leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, and unwavering commitment to community empowerment.

Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Timothy’s journey has been guided by faith, service, and excellence. He holds degrees in Education from Alabama State University and Prairie View A&M University, along with an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University—a foundation that has propelled him across sectors including education, ministry, and business.

Timothy served as Chief Operations Officer at New Beginnings Fellowship Church in Indianapolis, where he led a major financial turnaround. His entrepreneurial drive led him to establish RAR Properties, a venture dedicated to providing affordable housing in underserved communities.

Now rooted in the Bossier City area, Timothy is the proud Owner/Operator of two McDonald’s franchises located in Springhill, LA, and Magnolia, AR. His business success is matched by his passion for uplifting people—combining smart operations with deep community investment.

He holds multiple certifications in leadership, coaching, and organizational development and is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. His greatest pride is his role as a devoted father of five.

A Shreveport native with a global vision, Designer Tasha has spent over 25 years turning her passion into purpose—rising in the fashion world with grit, faith, and an unshakable attitude. Educated at The Art Institute of Los Angeles and West Los Angeles College in Fashion Merchandising and Business, her southern roots meet high fashion edge in every stitch and show.

Her innovative designs and editorial styling have graced major platforms including Marie Claire, VIBE, Essence, FashionBombDaily, Huffington Post, Lane Bryant, and more. She competed in Season 15 of Project Runway and has styled for major productions like Fox’s Rent, Power, Empire, BET’s The New Edition Story, and icons such as Sheryl Lee Ralph, Laverne Cox, Wendy Raquel Robinson, and Kanye West’s Sunday Service Choir.
