Out of the 3,900 films submitted from around 100 countries, 72 films from 33 countries were selected to compete: 36 in the Official category, 9 in the Off-Limits category, 17 in the Perspectives category, and 10 in the Young Audiences category.

Երևի լսել եք, որ «Օձի ապուր» անիմացիոն ֆիլմը վերջերս ընտրվեց աշխարհի ամենահեղինակավոր անիմացիոն կինոփառատոնի՝ Անսիի կարճամետրաժ ֆիլմերի «Հեռանկարներ» մրցութային բաժնում։ Ֆիլմի վրա աշխատել է Թումոյի դասընթացավար Վերոնիկա Ստեփանյանը, իսկ պրոդյուսերն է մեր Րաֆֆի Մովսիսյանը։ Այն պատմում է ռազմաճակատ մեկնող զինվորի մասին, որի հանդիպումներն ու փորձառությունները դառնում են երանելի երևակայության հիմք։

Իսկ ֆիլմի հեղինակը Թումոյի հին ընկեր Զաքար Դեմիրճյանն է, որն առաջիկայում կանցկացնի աշխատարան Երևանի թումոցիների համար: Աշխատարանի ընթացքում կծանոթանաս անիմացիայի արտադրության կարևոր հարցերին, Adobe Photoshop-ում անիմացիայի ստեղծմանը, compositing տեխնիկային, իսկ վերջում կստեղծես reel՝ Թումո բենդերից մեկի երաժշտության հիմման վրա։

Have you always been passionate about how animation works, from ideation to post-production? So, hurry up and join Zack Demirtshyan Art's learning lab where you’ll learn the basics of animation, how to animate on Adobe Photoshop, the technique of compositing, and by the end of the lab they’ll create a reel based on a TUMO band music.

By the way, Zakar’s animated film “Snake Soup” has been shortlisted for the “Perspectives” category of the renowned Festival International du Film d'animation d'Annecy. It took two years to make the film and the crew included composer Emil Abramyan, artists Daniel Grigoryan and Veronica Stepanyan, line producer Armine Harutyunyan, and producer Raffi Movsisyan. The film is about a soldier heading to the battlefield and his encounters along the way become the foundation for his blissful imagination.

The learning lab starts on April 7.
