My jaw dropped when my 19-year-old son showed up and said, "I'm getting married!" He’d only known the girl for three weeks, and they met through some shady people. My husband and I didn’t oppose him—after a serious talk, we said, "You’re an adult. We won’t stop you." The wedding was simple, with few guests and almost no one from the bride’s side. I had a strange feeling about her all day. Then, suddenly, two men with police badges appeared and headed straight for my son’s bride.
