DJ Barbie Saint (AKA DJ Saint or Die DJ) is the creator, co songwriter, bassist and backup vocalist of the electro industrial band, Die Robot.
She's been in different bands since the age of 17, and performed live in 4 different countries. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Barbie started to play guitar and keyboards at the age of 16, and was the lead vocalist of The Others. She became a professional musician when she met Vince Christian in Miami, and the two formed the synth pop duet, Pop Dolls. Barbie started playing live bass guitar for Pop Dolls and then later, she played live on other bands like, Unter Null, and many more.
She always enjoyed DJing her band's after parties, birthdays, and underground raves. In 2016 and with the advice of one of the best DJs in Portland, DJ Kaoz, she began to DJ professionally in the goth industrial clubs . Currently, she DJs about eight times a month.
Her official nights at the Lovecraft Bar (2019 Best Place to Dance) are: Collision, a mix of different genres through time (every 2nd Wednesday), The Requiem, a mix of hardbeat industrial, EBM and future club dance music (every 2nd Saturday)
