Fernando Knopf is a Bass Player, Pianist, Producer, Arranger, Musical Director & Band Leader, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His first’s connections with Music began at his homeland, surrounded by Jazz, Classical and Latin American Music. Fernando began studying Piano, Music Theory and Bass Guitar at age of 13 with Gustavo Gregorio methods in Buenos Aires, Oscar Stagnaro methods, bassist Arie Vo
linez, Arnon Palty and Eli Magen. Knopf holds a Bachelor of Music (B.A) from The Rubin Academy of Music, and a Jazz Performance Major from the Berklee affiliated “Rimon School of Music”. Fernando has been teaching at "Rimon School of Music" (Berklee) since 2009. Directs the Salsa Ensemble, Latin American Music Courses, Latin Bass Lines and is the Musical Director of the Summer Workshops. In 2005 Fernando released worldwide his Debut CD, "Latin Jazz Band" and performed at the Red Sea Jazz Festival in Eilat, Israel. Since 2011 Knopf has been the Founder and Musical Director of Latin Power Productions. From 2013 till today Fernando performs and produces the successful Show "Tribute to the Buena Vista Social Club" by Latin Power. His renowned Album "La Música es Sentimientos", was released worldwide in 2014. On 2015 Fernando performed in Johannesburg, South Africa, at the prestigious "Sandton Conventions Center". On November 2015 Fernando Toured on the USA, with big success performing at the JazzPhest at the International House of Philadelphia, at the Zinc Bar Jazz Club New York City, at the legendary Café Wha New York, and at the East Midwood Jewish Center in Brooklyn. From 2018 till 2023 Knopf performed with Israeli Rock & Pop Legends Shalom Hanoch & Matti Caspi for many Sold Out Concerts for thousands of people all over Israel at the most prestigious Venues. From 2021 Fernando performs and produces his “SANTANA TRIBUTE SHOW” by Latin Power. A powerful and top-of-the-line spectacle featuring the biggest hits of Carlos Santana. From 2023 Fernando is the Artistic Director and Musical Producer of the “Latino America Music Festival” in Tel Aviv, Israel. Which hosts some of the best Latin Artists from Cuba, Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Puerto Rico, Spain, Portugal and more.
