Human nature is timeless.

No matter how much technology evolves, your customer is always human.

Everything changed when I changed the metrics I track:

• I used to judge my content’s success or failure based on “engagement”.

• Now I write to leave our family a curated set of principles and wisdom.

Moral: Your happiness is shaped by the metrics you track.

Know what your community wants - down to page 86 of the technical manual.

But always write for the people you love.

Write for human nature.

Every word is as a piece of your legacy.

Even if nobody sees this, our children will.
