📢 Announcement from Solid Capsule Records

We’ve made the decision to remove all our tracks from Spotify in the coming weeks. This step wasn’t taken lightly, but it’s necessary.

The reasons are clear:

Extremely low royalties for artists and labels

Algorithmic manipulation that buries independent music

Unfair fees and policies

Proliferation of ghost artists and generic, AI-generated music

And more…

Most concerning: Spotify now demands €10 per track if they suspect fake streams – without proof, context, or the chance to respond. This is unacceptable.

We refuse to be part of a platform that prioritizes profit over art, data over creativity, and punishment over transparency.

We’re stepping away from this broken system.
But we’re not gone — far from it.
