I’ve always been a big believer in finding your passion in life.

My Mum tells me I used to dance to the channel 9 nightly news theme song as a toddler, so maybe I was always meant to become a journalist or do something in the media space?

With coming up to its first year as an operational business, I realise it would never have been possible without all of the fails I faced in my first few years of journalism.

Business is hard.

There’s so many things. All of the things. Most of the things are up to you to figure out, with a pinch of everyone else’s opinion scattered throughout.

I used to feel alone in the journey of starting a business, but I’ve quickly realised just how lucky we are to have so many supportive people out there who’ll help you.. but you just have to ask.

There’s plenty of fails. There’s plenty of ‘what am I doing?’, there’s plenty of tears (maybe the 3:30am alarms exacerbate those on some days) but once upon a time I dreamt of being the woman I am today.

And I wouldn’t change a thing.

Thank you to all those who’ve been part of the fails, the tears and the small wins.

My dream was to bring something different to the Adelaide market that people can use to keep the memory of their special day alive for years to come. If that sounds like something you’re keen to have at your wedding or next event, let me know.
