Our first proper team photo with all eight of us in it, and I have to admit, this one feels pretty special ✨

Never in my wildest dreams did I think my little side hustle in marketing consulting would turn into my full-time gig, let alone grow into a team of eight, with a beautiful office space in the background to call our business home.

There have been plenty of twists, turns, big leaps, lessons and a fair bit of “saying yes and figuring it out later”, but I’m so incredibly grateful for where it’s all led.

Getting to work alongside these gorgeous, talented humans every day is one of the best parts of it all. It’s more like spending days with friends, except apparently we call this “work”.

A whole lot of brains, creativity, laughs, support and energy in one frame. Very blessed to call this lot my team 🤍

When beautiful spaces and thoughtful hospitality meet, you get The Butcher’s Cottage

We recently had the chance to capture some fresh photography for this beautiful new Airbnb in Williamstown, and it didn’t take long for us to fall in love with the space. Warm, full of character and thoughtfully put together, there are so many little details that make it feel special.

Donna shared that the new photography is already making a real difference in how The Butcher’s Cottage is presented to potential guests, helping people get a better feel for the space and what makes a stay there so special. The best kind of feedback to receive!

We absolutely loved bringing this project to life and capturing a glimpse of what guests can expect when they step through the doors.

If you’re looking for a relaxing Barossa Valley escape, The Butcher’s Cottage is definitely one to add to your list 🤍

Not your average Friday at the office… 😬

Last week, I stepped (very nervously) over the edge of the InterContinental Adelaide for the Adelaide City Plunge, proudly in support of the Flinders Foundation

I’ll be honest… the nerves were stupidly real. Heights aren’t exactly my favourite thing, and standing 80m on top of a building definitely had me questioning my decisions. But with the beautiful weather, an incredible group of people and doing it all for such a meaningful cause, I’m so glad I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and said yes!

A huge thank you to everyone who generously donated, sent messages of encouragement or cheered me on from the sidelines. It genuinely meant so much! And a big shoutout to InDaily for supporting myself and the other three brave 40 Under 40 legends I was lucky enough to make the trip down the side of the building with. Definitely one for the memory bank!

So, here’s to saying yes to the things that scare you 💪🏼🤍

Some people come into your life for a chapter. They teach you something, leave their mark and become part of the story.

Then there are the people who become one of the big characters in the book. The ones who change the way you think, stretch what you believe is possible and give you opportunities and experiences you never could have imagined for yourself.

For me, Trev Harch is one of those people.

And today, for his 80th birthday, he deserves a very special shoutout!

Trev gave me one of my first real opportunities when I went out on my own through his beautiful wine brand, Brockenchack Wines

He has always spoken about giving young people enough rope, enough trust and enough opportunity to see just how far they can fly. And that is exactly what he did for me.

Because of that trust, I was given the chance to think bigger than I ever had before. To work across export markets, marketing, grants and sales development, and to travel multiple times to the UK and Europe, as well as to New Zealand, Queensland, and countless trips to their beautiful patch of Eden Valley that the Harch family calls home.

What started as an incredible professional opportunity grew into something far more personal and special. From the countless coffees, the conversations that stretched my thinking, the advice, stories and plenty of laughs, to the time spent with Trev, Marilyn and the entire family.

Trev and Marilyn have become my adopted grandparents and extended family, where it makes me smile every time Trev refers to me as grandchild number five. A title I’m very happy to claim!

So, Happy 80th birthday, Trev. Thank you for taking a chance on me all those years ago, for always pushing me to think bigger and for the very big part you’ve played in the person I am today.

I hope you know just how loved, respected and appreciated you are 🤍

When family legacy and a life-long passion for trucking meet, you get Nuriootpa Traders.

This one is incredibly special for us.

50 years ago, Fallon and Beth’s Dad, Kym Roocke, started Nuriootpa Traders alongside his own Dad, Jim. What began as a family business built on hard work, determination and a genuine love for trucks grew into the business it is today.

After decades of successful growth, Nuri Traders was sold in 2018, where it’s been incredible to watch the new owners and team continue to build on that foundation, going from strength to strength while carrying forward the same values and passion that started it all.

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of capturing the story and celebrating a successful 50 years of business through fresh photography and videography, as well as bringing their new website to life!

Seeing Nuriootpa Traders trucks travelling across Australia, knowing it all started with our family, a s**t load of hard work and determination, makes us incredibly proud.

It’s been a true privilege to have been part of this milestone and we’ve loved working with the team to bring this to life.

Here’s to 50 years of hard work, passion and an incredible legacy 🚛

In May, Jack Wilson and I travelled to Kenya to visit opblue’s newest partner schools and spend time with the communities we are fortunate to work alongside.

It gave us the opportunity to see OpHealth in action and to better understand what these meals mean beyond the numbers.

We launched OpHealth just over a year ago after seeing children arrive at school hungry, struggling to learn and leaving at lunchtime with nothing in their stomaches or their homes to go back to. Attendance was dropping, students were leaving during the day and learning was becoming increasingly difficult without something as basic as a meal.

Today, OpHealth provides more than 524,520 meals each year across our partner schools.

And yes, that is a number we are incredibly proud of, but was the quieter moments that stayed with us most…

Teachers telling us attendance had improved. Classrooms filled with children ready to learn. Students staying for the entire school day because they knew a nutritious meal would be waiting for them.

Its those moments that remind us what OpHealth is really about.

A meal can help a child stay in the classroom, it can support their education, open the door to opportunities and give them a stronger chance to shape their own future.

We know there is still so much more to do, but looking back on this visit reminded us how much can be achieved when people come together with a shared purpose.

To every person who has donated, supported or believed in Opblue, thank you. You are helping make this work possible.

What we do today changes their tomorrow 💙

Big projects call for a seriously skilled team, and zagari concrete delivered!

We recently had the pleasure of capturing fresh photography at Adelaide’s brand new Adelaide Aquatic Centre where Zagari completed the extensive concrete work across the bulk of the project.

Zagari has become a long-term client we’ve loved working with over the years. From managing their social media and rebuilding their website, and then having the team transform our own office outdoor space in 2025, we’ve been lucky enough to experience their work from both sides of the table, and this project was far too impressive not to share.

The new Aquatics Centre is a brilliant addition to Adelaide and a huge-scale project that showcases the quality, craftsmanship and care Zagari brings to every job.

We always love working with this talented, down-to-earth team and capturing some of the unique and large-scale projects they bring to life.
