🥧 PIES, PEDALS & POOCHES AT WATTLE PARK BAKERY 🐾🚲

There’s a lot more than great pies and coffee being served up at Wattle Park Bakery.

A neighbourhood favourite for more than 25 years, this much-loved local spot has become a meeting place for regulars, cyclists, four-legged visitors and anyone who appreciates good old-fashioned hospitality.

From an incredible selection of house-made goodies and seriously oversized doughnuts, to bike racks, doggy treats and a welcoming outdoor area, it’s easy to see why people come for a bite… and stay a little longer than planned.

Brett headed along for Limelight SA to discover the people, personality and little touches that make Wattle Park Bakery such a local gem.

🪩 DISCO INFERNO TURNS BACK TIME AT THE TOP OF THE ARK 🪩

Friday night saw the Top of the Ark come alive with the sounds of the ’70s as Fusion Pops Orchestra brought Disco Inferno to one of Adelaide’s most iconic entertainment rooms.

A full orchestra, powerhouse vocals, sparkling costumes and a dance floor filled with people reliving the songs they grew up with. 🎻✨🕺

For me, returning to the Top of the Ark brought back memories of dancing there in my late teens - and when the music started, the years seemed to disappear.

My highlight? It’s Raining Men ☔️🎶 — big, uplifting and wonderfully over the top!

🎹✨ ADELAIDE’S GREATEST SHOWMAN LIGHTS UP THE CAPRI! ✨🎹

What a night!

Limelight SA headed to the beautiful Capri Theatre to experience Flaming Sambucas’ Elton John Tribute Show - and from the spectacular costumes and timeless Elton classics to the storytelling, musicianship and plenty of audience singalongs, this was so much more than your average tribute show.

The Limelight SA verdict: ★★★★★ 5/5
A not-to-be-missed, sensational musical & visual extravaganza!

And there was even a familiar face joining the fun… Claudio from Cas & Nori’s Dancing with an Italian segment on 87.6FM, found himself up on stage dancing during 'Club at the End of the Street!'💃🕺

🎶 PATRICK JAMES | MT BARKER TOWN HALL

There was something pretty special about spending a Sunday with Patrick James in the beautiful old Mt Barker Town Hall. 🧡

Laid-back, intimate and full of warmth, Patrick had the audience completely at ease - sharing stories, plenty of humour and, of course, some beautiful music.

From stepping off the stage to perform amongst the audience, to sitting down at the piano right there in the hall, this was one of those gigs where the connection between artist, audience and place really mattered.

And for us, the venue brought back a few memories of our own. ❤️
