On March 15th in Fullarton, Adelaide, HelpMeBuyAnEV kicks off its first EV Experience Day, featuring 15 brands and over 30 EVs on display!

We’re proud to partner with Living Choice Retirement Villages, helping introduce EVs to their residents, staff, families, and local communities. This event marks the first stop of a 15-stop tour across SA, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, and Sydney!

🔌 Banton Australia is on board, installing DC fast chargers across Living Choice Retirement Villages nationally. Our own Matthew Downie and Domenique Downie will be there to answer all your charging questions.

Expect panel sessions, activations, great food, coffee, ice cream vans, and EV experts ready to chat. These events are set to be huge, and we’re excited to bring EVs to Australians everywhere!

Over the coming weeks, our team will be trialing a range of electric light commercial vehicles to find the best fit for our operations.

Meet Domenique Downie, one of the 2024 Women to Watch! 🌟 SA Woman Australia

While Domenique often prefers to stay behind the scenes, her drive to make a difference and pave the way for others has put her into the spotlight. She and her husband Matt Downie launched iElectrical & Communications 7 years ago, growing it from just a van to a team of over 40 electricians. In 2023, they founded Banton Australia, offering sustainable solutions to help businesses and councils achieve Net Zero 2050.

Domenique balances her career as a leader in business while being a passionate advocate for women in trades. Despite not loving the limelight, she’s proud to step forward, not just for herself but for her two sons—so they can see that mummy can do brave things too!

Wevolt welcomes two public chargers at MYVISTA in Mirrabooka WA. Banton Australia installed and manages the chargers, and we thank them for connecting to the Wevolt network. (P.S. Fun fact - while you’re charging, take a minute to admire the MYVISTA Apartments which won the ‘Aging in Place’ category in the 2023 Apartment Awards for Excellence!)

The rumours are true Matt Downie and James Murray are set to introduce Australia’s first public V2G charger this year. These two superstars have succeeded in an incredibly exciting space. There’s so much more to come!

V2Grid Australia claim they will launch Australia's first public vehicle-to-grid (V2G) EV charger at a South Australian CBD site in September 2024, allowing EV drivers to earn real-time payments for discharging energy into the grid.
