Mike has a long and varied history with theatre in Adelaide, having acted, sung, danced, directed, composed, musically directed, & produced, not only for Rumoured Productions, but also Adelaide Rep, Marie Clark, Northern Light,
Hills Musical, Salisbury Theatre Co & La Mama. Mike is an accomplished & versatile lead guitarist and pianist/keyboard player & music programmer. Mike has composed, produced & provided original & other music for film, TV & stage projects including Corporate Commercial Advertising and major theatrical productions. Mike has also worked on Musical Arrangements for live & studio performance & recording, from brass bands, orchestras & choirs to rock bands & pop vocal groups. SERVICES PROVIDED:
Musical Direction –
Almost all musical projects incorporating more than one musician/singer require direction. Often it is overlooked and usually to the detriment of the project. All arrangements for voices & instruments can & should be improved, whether the music is to be performed live on stage or in the recording studio. We can arrange & score everything from a simple, single harmony to a full, multi voice choral piece. Or if your brass band wishes to perform a song that has no brass arrangement, we can do that for you too. Or if you are a song writer in a band, & need your song arranged & scored for your fellow band mates so they can bring your creation to life, we can make that happen for you. Backing Tracks –

Mike Pitman is a multi instrumentalist who specialises in Lead, Rhythm & Acoustic Guitars and Piano, Synthesiser & Keyboards. Mike also plays Bass Guitar & various Percussion. As Mike is also a very experienced music programmer, he is ideally suited to the role of Musical Director for touring or tribute style bands, whose needs include fuller live production values via synched click tracks. Any band employing him in such a role would benefit from his Musical Direction & live production skills, music programming & on stage versatility with guitars & keyboards.
