I wanted to say thank you so much to those of you who listen, call or text the show, and interact here on socials ..

I never take it for granted what an honour and privilege it is to have a show on the mighty FIVEAA .. I hope I'm doing it justice

I also pinch myself. The 14 year old at 5THE FM Millicent would lose his mind if he knew he'd speak to the people he does

A radio legend said to me this year "you do the greatest show - more people need to hear it" - so that's my new years resolution - more listeners, more callers, more great guests

Thanks to producers Blake and Sam for all their help too.

Saddened to hear the news that FIVEAA regular weekend caller and town crier Tom Benney has passed away.

For years, if not decades, Tom would call the station, 605am every Saturday & Sunday Morning, ring his bells (his poor neighbours), give a boisterous town cry and then give us all a title. Michael Keelan was ‘Lord Michael’, I was ‘Consort Leith’ 😂

One of the great FIVEaa personalities who will be dearly missed. Condolences to Tom’s family and friends. Vale Tom. .

Diagnosed with AAG at 18, Annaliese has multiple organ failure, several major operations, the loss of 10 feet of bowel and intestinal failure.

Annaliese created the “Echoes of Love” letterbox with Centennial Park Cemetery, with CEO Nadia Andjelkovic pictured here, in Centennial Park’s contemplation court - to share personal, confidential messages with lost loved ones.
