Seriously GREAT night last night, for all who braved the weather.

Absolutely LOVED seeing 'The Creature from the Black Lagoon' on the BIG screen.
AND seeing the DARK OZ advert, for the Bonfire Horror Club magazine, on the BIG screen too.

Photos of the DARK OZ table here taken just after set-up, before the crowds rolled in. More sales last night, on a 'quiet' night, compared to more hectic/chaotic crowds for busier sessions/movies (when it's sometimes too packed for people to move and browse).

Just wanted to apologise for packing up early (I was out of there by 8:45pm), I totally forgot it was a 9pm movie instead of the regular 8:30pm movies.
I will have the BONFIRE HORROR CLUB Souvenir Cinema Programme available at the next movie - CHILD'S PLAY on Fri 29-Aug - I'll see you all there at the Palace Nova Cinemas - The Bonfire Horror Club presents: Child's Play

Retro Sci-Fi Tales #11 had 4 variant covers - A, B, C, D - each with unique front AND back covers (NOTE - cover D was a bumper Limited Edition variant with 8 extra pages containing ALL of the covers inside the one issue).

The covers featured FAMOUS MONSTERS:

Cover 'D' features two Australian actors who gave permission for their names and likenesses to be used. I even have a couple copies of cover D still in stock actually signed by Nicole - VERY rare!!!

THE SHROUDS – Full Synopsis
From legendary director David Cronenberg comes The Shrouds — his most intimate and personal work to date — starring Vincent Cassel, Diane Kruger, and Guy Pearce. Set in a disturbingly calm near-future, the story follows Karsh (Cassel), a tech entrepreneur who has invented a radical new system called The Shrouds: software that enables grieving families to watch the physical deterioration of their loved ones via cameras installed in specially designed coffins.

Four years after losing his wife Becca (Kruger) to cancer, Karsh is still haunted by grief and has begun a complex relationship with her sister, Terry (also Kruger). When several graves using his technology are desecrated and the coffin camera feeds are mysteriously encrypted, Karsh's company faces a crisis — and his personal connection to his wife is severed. Determined to find the culprit, Karsh embarks on an investigation that reveals a disturbing and far-reaching conspiracy.

Written in the wake of his own personal loss, The Shrouds is a meditation on mourning and mortality, blending Cronenberg’s signature mix of dread, intelligence, and dark humour in a chilling exploration of the boundaries between the physical and the digital, the finite and the eternal. In cinemas July 3.
