come to this realisation sooner rather than later 🫶

I never expected anything to happen for me, I’ve always worked hard, but I didn’t know where hard work *could* take you, I played it safe for so many years

I never followed my dream, it was always somebody else’s idea or just following where life took me

I looked on at others doing what I enjoyed for a living and thought “that could never be me” or “that’s what they do”

until I had some people believe in me, and I was like well why not me lol?? it wasn’t gonna magically happen though, I had to go and make it happen

I haven’t looked back since 💫

on my death bed I won’t regret being myself & living exactly as I wanted to 🫶

I would regret wasting precious energy on worrying about what other people think of me…

(side note: nobody’s thinking about you as much as you’re thinking about you)

I wish I cared less and embraced the cringe sooner, but grateful to have adopted this mindset at 28/29 🤍
