In the station this morning we had a visit from Breastscreen SA , talking on the Philipino programme just before Mostly Music.
They stressed the quality and availability of free breast cancer screening available to all women 50-75
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women of all ethnicities information in many Languages and personal female interpreters are available for bookings and education

BreastScreen SA is South Australia's dedicated breast cancer screening program, providing free screening mammograms (breast X-rays) every 2 years to women aged over 40. Our service screens around 100,000 women each year, aiming to detect breast cancer at an early stage, often before it can be felt.
