In the station this morning we had a visit from Breastscreen SA , talking on the Philipino programme just before Mostly Music.
They stressed the quality and availability of free breast cancer screening available to all women 50-75
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women of all ethnicities information in many Languages and personal female interpreters are available for bookings and education

BreastScreen SA is South Australia's dedicated breast cancer screening program, providing free screening mammograms (breast X-rays) every 2 years to women aged over 40. Taking a break from radio while travelling g in Hawaii. Sitting in the Kani Ka Pilla Grill at the Outrigger beachside resort Honolulu listening to Ho'okena who have played together for almost 40 years. Expect to hear them in coming shows.

Just went to soak up the huge sounds of the Soweto Gospel Choir's performance HOPE at the Adelaide Fringe specifically Gluttony - Adelaide Fringe Festival
They were wonderful!! I bought the CD so we will put some songs in tomorrow's show with John Sheehan

Mostly Music listeners may recall Fergus' songs and his upcoming g Adelaide Fringe Show with Doctor D. These lunchtime concerts feature local artists with an honest vibe.

Next Monday musical storyteller Fergus Maximus will be performing at Music on Flinders from 12.30 -1pm. Fergus Maximus is that bloke with his headphones on long after the playlist has finished, completely oblivious because there’s always music in his head anyway. His unapologetic pop songs encompass all the important things: love, loss, mistakes, surprises and people’s astonishing capacity to miscommunicate. My first experience of the Italian American themed show Zooma Zooma tonight at Adelaide Fringe in the The Garden of Unearthly Delights. They are great fun and super performers. Based on the work of Louis Prima. We will feature some of those songs on mostly music shows soon.

Caught my first show for Adelaide Fringe last night. Mostly music listeners would be interested in Tim Burton's Rhapsody in Chicago Blues.
quirky title and promotion pictures led to a programme on boogie swing and de Bussy by a sincere and accomplished pianist with a life long (long) love of music
