From day one of our existence, Baked Digital had the support of Football Australia (there is a backstory here if you're interested 😉).

Tasked with managing the digital content and social media coverage of the Australia Cup while the content team was in transition, many people contributed to a successful tournament including FA staff and a dedicated bunch of passionate freelancers. 🤝

I hate doing this. I'm most comfortable creating, managing and posting your content. When it comes to my own or promoting myself, I don't enjoy it but here we are.

Okay here's the backstory. My name is Tim Baker, and this is Baked Digital.

I started out as a freelance journalist writing for a bunch of magazines and a few websites just as publishing as we knew it became terminally ill.

As time went on I picked up work that required embracing this newish thing called Facebook... and Twitter... and Instagram. I started playing around with websites, and even started a digital magazine before they were even really a thing (pre-iPad!), it failed hard. I created content for YouTube and started to get into podcasts (although it was a few years before I recorded my own).

Anyway, long story short, things really ramped up about 11 years ago when I started working for the Australian National Drag Racing Association, then Adelaide United and finally Football Australia and the Socceroos where I was lucky enough to be at the World Cup in Qatar, producing and managing the team's content and social media.

This overly long post is to say when it comes to all things digital, I've seen and done i̶t̶ ̶a̶l̶l̶, well most of it anyway, and now I'm in a position to help others.

Web, social media, content management, content creation, digital marketing, strategy and probably a few things that escape me as I type this... Baked Digital provides expert digital and social media services to help you grow your channels online.
