CASTING CALL

We're really excited to be currently working on a drama short film that fleshes out and presents the lost son parable (found in Luke 15) in a contemporary Australian context.

Filming in Adelaide likely sometime in July, we're currently looking for male actors (or people willing to give it a go! No experience necessary!) to play our 3 main characters.

Thank you to for screening ‘Listen’ at their 31st event yesterday in California - It’s largest screening yet!

Along with being nominated for 7 (!) awards, our lead won BEST ACTOR! Now making ‘Listen’ an international award winning short. 🏆🏆🏆

Big congrats to Tristan! And thanks to God for such a fun opportunity to share what we’ve made! 🌟

D i f f u s i o n is a collective of South Aussie filmmakers who have a heart to create good quality faith-inspired films that can help people engage with and encounter God.

We are a group of Christian friends with all sorts of talents that love the art of filmmaking, and want to use it to pose questions that invite people to think about God, rather than try and give all the answers.

Things began stirring in 2023, as a bunch of us met together to encourage each other in our filmmaking pursuits. We discovered we all had a passion to bring our faith in God into our work - in the process of creating as well as the final product. And to make good art with and as a response to our good creator.

So we gave it a crack, and will be releasing our first short film very shortly. 👀

There’s more on the horizon for Diffusion, and we’re keen to share that with you soon.
