So happy to see The Bluff hanging in Nina’s home.

I love having creative friends to nerd out with over all the beautiful things we notice and appreciate. Nina sent me one of her photographs from the Fleurieu Peninsula and asked if I could turn it into a painting. It was such a special project to work on, and even more special to see it now hanging in her home.

Thanks for the pretty photos 💚

This is a great feeling, to hand over a painting to its new owner and to see the joy it brings. That is why I paint, to share beauty and to make people feel something.

I painted this beautiful coastal scene for a special friend. She sent me a photo she took on the Fleurieu Peninsula and asked if I could use it as a reference (see 2nd photo). It was such a joy to spend time immersed in this landscape.

Thank you for getting me painting again 💕

A beautiful chapter awaits. We have moved into a new home, welcomed our baby boy into the world and settled into life as a family of four.

And I finally have a messy corner in our home where I can paint and create. Yay 🙂 it feels good to paint again.

She’s finally finished! ✨

I painted this piece as a gift for my husband for our second anniversary (back in November 😅). At the time, our baby wasn’t sleeping well and I was far too exhausted to feel creative, so it’s taken me a while to get here.

Creating something for someone I love so deeply is always the hardest—it makes me want to pour out my very best. And honestly, I think this has become one of my favourite pieces yet. He loves it, and that alone fills me with so much joy.

We couldn’t resist pairing our paintings with poems for each other. His words make me cry every single time I read them—even now, nearly a year later. They make me feel so deeply seen, safe, loved, and understood 🥹❤️.

I wanted to give him that same gift in return: words that reflect back all of who he is. He’s an incredible writer, which makes it an even bigger challenge, but one I love taking on. And when my words brought him to tears too—he asked how I managed it ☺️—I knew I’d done what I hoped.

Everyone has their own definition of success, but for me, evoking that kind of emotional response and creating connection through art and words…that’s everything.

I’m so honoured to share this recent commission with you — each project brings its own magic, but this one held something especially tender.

Created as a gift for a father’s 89th birthday, this piece is a tribute to a life once lived on a small Pacific island — a time of joy, simplicity, and deep connection to place and family. The story behind it was rich with warmth and memory, and I had the privilege of weaving those threads into something visual.

Thank you, for trusting me with such a meaningful part of your family’s story. ❤️

It has been a busy week working on two commissions, and I can safely say it has been a fulfilling one. I created this illustration as a wedding gift for my dearest friend Lara - I love being able to make personalised gifts for the people I care about.

There’s something so special about combining the art of giving with the joy of using your own hands to make someone feel seen and loved. It fills my cup more than I ever imagined.

Have a lovely weekend, all :)

There’s a yearning in her to create and to hold onto moments, to capture the beauty that stirs her soul.
A longing for adventure and connection—not a restless longing, but a steady, grounded pull that moves her forward.
In nature, she felt whole. Among the birds, the dust, the trees swaying in the breeze, and the thunder of the waterfall, she felt peace.
And she wasn’t alone. The companionship was within—woven from all the parts of herself she had been: the little girl, the searching teen, the young woman, the partner, the mother.
All still there, walking beside her, quietly guiding her.
