"Harbour In The Storm" is officially here. 🌊🎸
A track that has been a deeply personal journey of unmasking and letting go. "Harbour In The Storm" explores the courage it takes to dismantle the "fortresses" we build around ourselves and the liberation found in finally standing unmasked and open.
Musically, this composition is a blend of high-energy classical-crossover and acoustic rock fusion, grounded by warm Americana roots.
The arrangement features:
An intricate guitar quartet utilising nylon and steel-string guitars.
Virtuosic techniques including rapid arpeggios, flamenco-style patterns, and percussive body taps that mimic a heartbeat.
Soulful, expressive harmonica leads that provide a soaring counter-melody.
Deep, resonant baritone vocals that carry the weight of the story.
This piece was crafted to be an immersive experience, moving from the "dust" of old defences to the "inheritance" of a future defined by clarity and connection. It’s my hope that this track captures the chaos, the struggle, and ultimately, the peace of finding your harbour.
