Turtle Tuesday π’
November marks the beginning of turtle nesting season here in Queensland, and itβs an exciting time to witness nature in action! Between November and March, you can spot incredible creatures like loggerhead, green, and flatback turtles as they make their way ashore to lay eggs. Theyβre arriving now to nest, and in just a couple of months, weβll start seeing baby turtles hatching and heading for the ocean.
When you visit, remember to keep lights low, stay behind the turtles, and avoid flash photography to protect these little ones on their journey. Bring friends and family to witness the magic β Turtle Tuesday is the perfect excuse to connect with nature and learn about these incredible, ancient travelers!
