Albury/ Wodonga 🎨 By Popular Request..School Holiday Workshops Are Here!

Over the past few months, our community group workshops, library sessions and Mum & Me classes have been such a hit that many families have been asking if I'd offer workshops during the school holidays too.

I'm excited to say bookings are now open!

Designed for creative kids who love making things with their hands, these workshops are beginner friendly and packed with fun.

Polymerclay Workshops (Ages 8+)
• Trinket Dish Workshop
• Bookmark Workshop
• Stud earrings workshop

Each workshop runs for 3 hours and can be booked individually.

Want a full day of creativity? Book both the morning and afternoon sessions and children can stay on-site between classes with a BYO lunch. 🥪

Whether your child loves crafting already or simply enjoys trying something new, these workshops are a wonderful way to spend a creative day during the school holidays.

While everyone else is talking EOFY sales, we're doing something a little different. 🩷

At Southern Land Creatives, we believe Australian handmade is already worth celebrating.

Join us on Saturday 20 June from 10am–2pm for a fun, community focused day supporting the incredible Australian creatives behind the products you see in store.

A little vulnerability...

This weekend I'm hosting the very first BOCY event, and whenever you create something completely new, there's always that little voice wondering whether people will understand it.

BOCY was created because I wanted to do something different to the usual EOFY sales.

For me, this feels more like the beginning of the creative year than the end of the financial year.

It's a chance to celebrate the Australian creatives behind the products in store, welcome new collections, launch some new designs of my own, and start the next chapter with creativity and community at the centre.

Throughout the day, visitors can create their own flag to add to our community bunting which will be a growing display of support for Australian small businesses and creatives. Whether you draw, write a message, add a squiggle or simply sign your name, each flag will become part of something bigger- a visual reminder that every small business thrives because of the people who choose to support it.

There will also be craft activities for kids, exclusive new product launches, workshop discount codes and plenty of beautiful Australian handmade products to discover.

Will everyone understand it? Maybe not.

But I believe handmade is worth celebrating, and I believe supporting small Australian creatives matters.

So we're giving it a go.

Thank you to everyone who has encouraged my sometimes unusual ideas and supported Southern Land Creatives along the way.
