My Wedding 😍

So, this page is all about your special day.. and here I am sharing my own wedding!

I got married on the 7th of October 2017… which was two months to the day before it was legalised here in Australia. 🌈

We didn’t care. We didn’t want to wait for someone else to tell us that we can get married. 🤷‍♀️

We partied first and signed the paperwork the following March and made it all official…

I wasn’t working in the industry at the time… and to be honest, with the knowledge I have now there isn’t too much that I would have changed.

I would still wear the same human, wear the same dress, ugly cry during the vows BUT I wouldn’t have put the MC gig onto my mates!

Lesson learned. MC is definitely a huge responsibility and while our boys nailed it, I wish they could have partied harder instead of watching the clock…

Anyway… we were featured in the magazine when they were just starting out and we couldn’t be more grateful to share their article with you all…

When a celebrant marries a celebrant. What an absolutely honour this was… 💙

In the lead up, we knew everything was sorted.

What a wild, beautiful thing life is. 😍

I used to watch play football on TV… Standing tall (jokes that never happened), fierce and proud in green and gold.

A Matilda.
A national hero.
But nothing could have prepared me for what came next.

and didn’t just choose me to be their celebrant… they chose me to be part of one of the most powerful and love-filled days I’ve ever witnessed.

Two hearts. One love. And a ceremony that felt like the whole world stood completely still.

But even more than that… They kept me.
As a friend. As someone they love back.

What started as admiration from a distance has turned into a real, raw, unbelievable lifetime friendship.

One that my wife and I treasure so deeply.

To my beautiful girls… my heroes in so many ways, and most importantly my friends… Thank you for choosing me… and not just to stand beside you on your wedding day… but in your life, today and always!

I’ll never stop being grateful for the way our worlds collided and I cannot wait for our forever to unfold…
