Redlegs Netballers have established themselves at the summit of the sport in East Gippsland, competing in the Gippsland League, reaching finals in A grade and taking out the Premiership in 17's in season 2025 !
For netballers looking to improve and progress, we have also established pathways into high performance netball via the Gippsland Stars VNL program. Bairnsdale players featured at all levels in the Stars VNL set up, from Championship level down.
The development pathway saw the strongest representation of Redlegs, with a number of our players being part of the premiership winning 17's and 19's Stars squads.
As part of our ongoing development plan, we are reaching out to all aspirational players in this area. We've also timed our screening and trial dates to give players chance to try out as a Redleg first and not lose the chance to play elsewhere if it doesn't work out.
Trials start on Tuesday 18th November at 4.45pm and will include a chance to meet the coaches, ask questions and see how you feel.
